Terms of Service
Last updated: October 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website, operated by Proper Remodeling & Roofing (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. About Our Services
Proper Remodeling & Roofing provides home improvement services, including impact windows and doors, roofing, and remodeling, for homeowners in Florida. Service availability, product options, and offers may vary by location and project.
3. Website Is Informational
Content on this website is for general information only and does not constitute a quote, contract, professional advice, or a guarantee of results. Product performance, energy savings, noise reduction, insurance outcomes, and project results vary by property, installation conditions, and manufacturer specifications.
4. Estimates and Consultations
- Initial consultations and estimates are free and create no obligation for either party.
- Estimates are non-binding and may change after an on-site evaluation reveals conditions such as hidden damage, non-standard framing, or code requirements.
- A binding agreement for work is formed only when both parties sign a written contract that states the scope, price, materials, and schedule.
5. Contracts, Permits, and Licensing
All work is performed under a written agreement signed by you and us. The written agreement controls over anything stated on this website. Unless your contract states otherwise, we obtain and manage permits required for the approved scope of work, and work is performed in accordance with applicable Florida building codes.
6. Payment and Financing
- Payment schedules, deposits, and progress payments are defined in your written contract.
- References on this website to financing offers, such as deferred payments, no down payment, or promotional periods, are subject to credit approval, lender terms, project eligibility, and program availability. Financing is provided by independent third-party lenders, not by us, and is not guaranteed.
- Promotional terms may change or end without notice. Ask for complete written terms before proceeding.
7. Cancellation Rights
If your contract results from a solicitation at your home, Florida law may give you the right to cancel the contract within three (3) business days of signing, by delivering written notice as described in the contract. Additional cancellation or change rights may be stated in your written agreement.
8. Homeowner Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe access to the work areas, secure pets and valuables, and disclose known property conditions that may affect the work. Pre-existing structural issues, rot, water damage, or code violations discovered during the project may require a change in scope and cost, which will be documented in writing before the additional work proceeds.
9. Warranties
Warranty coverage for products is provided by the manufacturers under their written warranties. Workmanship warranty coverage, its duration, and any exclusions are stated in your written contract. Nothing on this website extends or modifies any warranty.
10. Intellectual Property
All text, graphics, images, and design elements on this website are owned by or licensed to Proper Remodeling & Roofing and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Images shown are illustrative of representative project possibilities and may not depict your exact results.
11. Third-Party Services
This website may use third-party services, such as form processing, scheduling, analytics, and financing providers. Your use of those services is also subject to the third parties’ own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proper Remodeling & Roofing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under a signed contract for work performed.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from your use of this website shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless your written contract provides a different dispute-resolution process.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
